This is what the roof looks like at the moment - shingles are going on today and they we hopefully be finished tomorrow.


This is one end of the tubing - the other end is just a loop. Both ends of the circuit have to end up in the basement at the manifold.


After we run the radiant heat tubing, Renee staples the heat transfer plates to the underneath side of the floor. These hold the tubing in place and also help distribute the heat to the floor.


The tubing actually handles a lot more easily than it looks. Once we had a system we could run a 300' length through the joists in less than 20 minutes.
